Who we are

What we collect
(a) Account info you give us: name, email.
(b) Financial account data via Plaid: with your explicit consent: your connected banks' and cards' transactions, balances, account names, and account/institution metadata. We connect read-only; we cannot move your money.
How we use it
To run your cash-flow projections, classify your spending, forecast shortfalls, and give you advisory guidance on when to move money. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.
Plaid
We use Plaid Inc.to connect your accounts. Your use of Plaid is governed by Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. You authorize us and Plaid to access and use your financial data as described here.
Service providers (subprocessors)
- Plaid: account connectivity.
- Supabase: database + authentication (US region).
- Vercel: hosting (US).
- Anthropic: AI classification of merchant descriptors only (never account numbers, balances, or credentials).
- Stripe: billing.
- PostHog: product analytics.
Each is contractually bound to use your data only to provide their service to us.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Plaid access tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at the application layer before storage. The encryption key lives in our hosting environment, never in the database, so a database read alone cannot replay your bank access. Access is restricted by Postgres row-level security and least-privilege server credentials. Optional two-factor authentication protects your account. Full details on our Security page.
Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can disconnect any institution at any time from the in-app settings (which revokes our Plaid access to it). You can also delete your account and all datain-app; we'll purge the corresponding rows and call Plaid /item/remove for every connected item within 30 days of the request. For requests outside the app, email support@moneypipeline.io.
Your rights
Access, correct, export, or delete your data via the in-app settings, or by emailing support@moneypipeline.io. If you're a California or EU resident, additional rights apply under CCPA / GDPR. Contact us to exercise them.
Changes
We'll post updates to this page and date them. Material changes will be communicated by email.
